Nelly Denies Claims of Drug Use and Home Foreclosure
A Twitter beef between Nelly and a man name Slim occurred last week, when the Missouri native fired off at Slim for trying to book him for an appearance at a basketball game in St. Louis. In retaliation Slim, who also claimed to be Nelly's manager, tweeted that the '5.0' creator was broke due to a gambling and drug habit and also alleged that he was close to foreclosure on his home.
"#FACTS u broke you spent yo whole fortune on #coke #steroids #ashanti #PILLS and at #HARRAHCASINO, u prolly there now!" Slim's tweet read.
In response, Nelly fired back via Twitter, stating that Slim wasn't his manager, but a promoter who he'd worked with in the past and that his claims were false.
"First if you believe Slim was my manager then this is pointless anyway. Second don't nothing go in this body but fish, chicken, turkey, protein, ROZAY, Ciroc, Remy and Budweiser! Third, Ino some hoping that foreclosure statement is true but I'm sorry, 'epic fail!' Anytime anyone in STL wanna match deeds or pinkslips HOLLA! #FACTS," Nelly wrote.
Nelly is currently working on a new LP that he plans to release before the end of 2011. This will mark the rapper's seventh studio album.

Lil Wayne Holding Out On Bangladesh
Bangladesh created magic once again with the beat for the Lil Wayne’s 6 Foot, 7 Foot song. With the song tearing up the charts and having accumulated over 166,000 downloads you would never expect the dilemma Bangladesh is facing. Lil Wayne’s Cash Money/Young Money label has not paid.
Bangladesh is making it very clear Lil Wayne is now on the back burner. He has no intention to work on additional beats for Lil Wayne until they come to terms on how to stop this financial mess.
Not the First Time Bangladesh Has Been Left Waiting
Part of this issue comes back to a decision from Bangladesh. Where the artist normally requires a percentage up front he chooses to give exceptions to top stars like Lil Wayne. He counts on their ability to sell their songs and albums to guarantee success. This is not the first time a dispute has broken out between Bangladesh and the Cash Money/Young Money label. Maybe Bangladesh just needs to state “Cash Money Cash Money” from now on.
The big question, does Lil Wayne agree with Bangladesh. It is very possible Lil Wayne is not expecting to make payments until the official release of Tha Carter IV, which is headlined by 6 Foot 7 Foot. Could it be this entire debate and problem is nothing more than simple miscommunication between two stars?
