Cudi promises 'Wizard' album will change music

Kid Cudi has set the bar high for his next album. The Cleveland MC promises fans that his upcoming project will change the face of music.

The rapper-turned-actor, who stars in the new season of HBO’s “How to Make It in America,” formed the rock band 2 Be Continuum with “Day ‘N’ Nite” producer Dot da Genius, and will release its debut album Wizard by the end of the year via his Wicked Awesome Records. “Ima need everyone to understand, when this Wizard album drops, the world of music is going to change, for the better. I promise. December!” tweeted Cudi.

He recently scrapped his mixtape A Man Named Scott so he could put all his energy into the album. “Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams,” he said.

Cudder will show off his newly-honed guitar skills on the project. “I’ve only been playing guitar for nine months but the records are f**king epic, epic. I’m really psyched,” he previously wrote.

Additionally, the newly sober Cudi announced plans to release a new song called “High Off Life!” and is preparing the follow-up to last year’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.

Jay-Z brushes off Weezy's diss

With his first child on the way and the “Watch the Throne” tour set to launch later this month, the last thing on Jay-Z’s mind is beef. The hip-hop titan had little to say when asked what he thought about Lil Wayne’s subliminal shots on Tha Carter IV.

Weezy’s controversial verse appears on “It’s Good” featuring Jadakiss and Drake. “Talkin’ about baby money, I got your baby money, kidnap your bitch, get that how much you love your lady money/ I know you fake ni**a, press your brakes ni**a/ I’ll take you out, that’s a date, ni**a,” raps the Young Money MC.

The lyrics were in response to Jay’s verse on “H•A•M,” where he reportedly took shots at Birdman, spitting, “I’m like really, half a billi, ni**a really you got baby money/ Keep it real with ni**as, ni**as ain’t got my lady money.”

MTV News caught up with Hov at his carnival-themed benefit last week, where he reluctantly addressed the situation.

“That’s sport, that’s rap music,” said Jay. “Nothing is going to change but the participants. I don’t even see why that’s news.”

Diddy upset over some Grey Goose?

Diddy is cleaning up his mess stemming from an incident over the weekend. The Bad Boy mogul was captured on camera scolding a clubgoer at a BET Hip-Hop Awards event at Compound in Atlanta. Now he has come forward to apologize for his behavior.

Diddy, who is the ambassador for Ciroc, reprimanded a patron after he spotted him sipping a competing vodka Grey Goose, hurling all sorts of profanities his way. “Put that shit down. What the f**k you gon’ do, ni**a? You’re in my house, ni**a. F**k outta here!” he fired, while appearing to throw something in the man’s direction.

T.I. jumped in to diffuse the situation. “Puff, you got too much motherf**kin’ money for that shit, ni**a. Let them ni**as drink what the f**k they want to drink. F**k that shit!” he said. “I love you ni**a, you know I’d go to war with you, but come on, man.”

Diddy took to Twitter to apologize for his actions during a late-night rant.

“I’m a child [of] God and I should be better no matter what somone says to me. I’m sorry for the ignorant way I repesented myself and us,” he wrote. “To all my childen of God … I have backslid and regressed. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls. I know better and I am better.”

He continued, “I have a responibility that I promise I will live up to. And I’m more dissapointed in myself than you know. I will humble myself and learn. Bottom line is I’m sorry to all! Pls find it in your heart to accept my apology. I will do better and be Greater And a source of positivity!”
